Meet The Darkness Whisperer

I am Ty Weston, a practitioner of Nahuallotl rooted in the path of the 4 Dog (Nahui Itzcuintli) from North Texas. For over 40 years, I have walked this sacred way. My own calendrical signs place me in a sacred tension, pulled between the solar world and the underworld of Mictlan. My path lies in navigating this liminal space—a realm that only the dog-headed deity Xolotl, my patron, can freely walk. As a 4 Dog, I share in his nature; our sacred function is to guide souls through the transformative darkness.

This path is not one of fantasy or escape—it is a return to a core truth: that spirit and earth are not separate, but are woven together in the great, dynamic energy of Teotl.

The keepers of this knowledge took many forms—healers (ticitl), diviners (tonalpouhqui), and more. My path is specifically that of the nahualli walker, one who works in the liminal spaces between the worlds. This ancient wisdom was often misunderstood and driven into shadow, yet it endured. This is the lineage of practice I walk with humility and reverence.

My journey began with a moment of profound clarity that awakened a lifelong dedication to this path. Through the Tonalpouhqui, I came to understand my own signs and embrace my destiny as a 4 Dog, a guide for others on their own journeys through the unseen.

As a practitioner, I offer four sacred ways of working with spirit:

My work is offered primarily online via Google Meet, making it accessible worldwide. In-person sessions may be available for those in North Texas seeking deeper immersion.
